"NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE DEGREE PROGRAM STUDENTS”

This institution is, provisionally approved by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education to offer degree programs. To continue to offer this degree program, this institution must meet the following requirements: Become institutionally accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education, with the scope of the accreditation covering at least one degree program.  Achieve accreditation candidacy or pre-accreditation, as defined in regulations, by May 16, 2019, and full accreditation by May 16, 2022. If this institution stops pursuing accreditation, it must: Stop all enrollment in its degree programs, and Provide a teach-out to finish the educational program or provide a refund. An institution that fails to comply with accreditation requirements by the required dates shall have its approval to offer degree programs automatically suspended

Advanced Diploma in Business Management top

 

This program teaches students the essential business management knowledge to own and operate a small business or undertake a responsible position in business and related fields. Topics covered include: critical concepts such as accounting, economics, business law, management, finance, communication skill, organizational behavior, marketing and entrepreneurship.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Demonstrate a core business knowledge in accounting, economics, business law, management,   finance, communication skill, human resource, organizational behavior, marketing and entrepreneurship.

The Admission Officer admits students to UM courses/ programs according to pre-specified entry requirements.

  • Government-issued photo identification;
  • 21 years old or above;
  • A non-refundable enrollment fee of $100;
  • Completed and signed enrollment agreement

Graduate Degree Program

  • A current resume -3 years of occupational experience
  • Proof of a bachelor degree completion in business, management, or administration; other disciplines may be acceptable and applicable to students with two years relevant working experiences or postgraduate certificate holders in related disciplines.
  • Official diploma (or transcript showing graduation) sent directly to UM via mailed or    online; or
  • Official transcripts from post-secondary institutions attended for transfer students
  • Non-Native English Speakers - Applicant must meet one of the following requirements:
    • A bachelor degree completed from an appropriately accredited institution where the medium of instruction is English.
    • A transcript indicating completion of at least 30 semester hours of credit with an average grade of "C" or higher at an appropriately accredited college or university where the language of instruction was English; "B" or higher for Master's. The college or university must be accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Secretary of Education and/or the Council for Higher Education (CHEA), or an accepted foreign equivalent that is listed in the International Handbook of Universities.
    •  TOEFL minimum scores of 550 (PBT, Paper Based Test) or 61 (iBT Internet Based Test). 6.5 on the International English Language Test (IELTS) or 44 on the PTE Academic Score Report; A minimum grade of Level 3 on the ACT COMPASS's English as a Second Language Placement Test; A minimum grade of Pre-1 on the Eiken English Proficiency Exam;

Advanced Diploma in Business Management

  • A current resume – 2 years of occupational experience
  • Proof of high school completion or obtaining GED or a relevant certificate/diploma
  • Official diploma (or transcript showing graduation) sent directly to UM via mailed or online; or
  • Non-Native English Speakers - Applicant must meet one of the following requirements:
    • A high school completed from an appropriately accredited/ recognized institution where the medium of instruction is English.
    • A transcript indicating completion of at least 30 semester hours of credit with an average grade of "C" or higher at an appropriately accredited college or university where the language of instruction was English; "B" or higher for Master's. Foreign Transcripts All transcripts must be presented in English. Transcripts not in English must be translated into English and evaluated by an appropriate translation professional that is fluent in the language of the transcript.

For transcripts that need equivalency, such as credit transfer (to be determined by Admission Officer), student official transcripts will be evaluated by a 3rd party evaluation service to show what type of program the student has and the grade equivalence (GPA) in the U.S. format. The document-by-document credential evaluation must be sent directly to University of Mansford by the evaluating party. A copy of the original transcripts must be submitted to University of Mansford in addition to the evaluation report. Please refer to http://naces.org/ to select an evaluation service. The approved evaluation services listed at www.naces.org are not related to the University and any fees for the evaluation service will be the responsibility of the student.
